The Latvian Central Bank is gearing up to accept applications for crypto-asset service provider licenses starting in January 2025. To assist companies in the application process, the bank is offering free pre-licensing consultations.

The goal of these consultations is to help companies submit well-prepared applications, streamlining the licensing process. There is no limit to the number of consultations a company can request.
To further support companies, the Latvian Central Bank has published detailed guides outlining the steps in obtaining a crypto-asset service provider license. These guides cover application preparation, required documentation, and the expected timeline for the review process.
A webinar will be held on September 30 to provide in-depth information about the licensing process. Experts will discuss the license process and answer attendees’ questions. Interested companies and consulting service providers can register for the webinar by September 27. The webinar will be conducted in English.
