On 16 November, People’s Artist of Ukraine Iryna Bilyk held a charity concert in the Japanese capital. The charity event, organized by International Fintech Business Limited (IFB), QIUNTEX BANK, and UMI GROUP, aimed to support children affected by Russian aggression.
“Every child deserves a happy childhood, and today, thanks to the incredible support of the Japanese public, we are one step closer to this goal. Art has no boundaries, and neither does human kindness. I am amazed at how warmly we were received in Tokyo,” Iryna Bilyk shared after the concert.
The concert became a symbol of unity between Japan and Ukraine, fostering a deeper connection between the two nations since the start of the full-scale invasion. According to international and Ukrainian human rights organizations, 2,238 children have been severely affected by Russian aggression, with the number continuing to rise.
“Today’s concert is more than just a charity event. It is a bridge between cultures, demonstrating that business can and should be socially responsible. We are proud to have united the Japanese and Ukrainian communities for such an important cause,” said the concert organizers.
A highlight of the evening was the auction of Iryna Bilyk’s limited-edition vinyl album NOVA, symbolizing new beginnings and hope. The success of the event affirmed the organizers’ commitment to creating a meaningful impact on communities worldwide and showcased the transformative power of art in strengthening global solidarity with Ukraine.
Thanks to the support of IFB, QIUNTEX BANK, and UMI GROUP, the evening proved that the distance between Tokyo and Kyiv is not measured in kilometers but in the sincerity of hearts and the willingness to help. The contributions from these companies are rays of hope for those in dire need during these challenging times.
